                              EXECUTIVE ORDER D—126—43

Relating to Exemptions Under Section 27156
                                  of the California Vehicle Code

                                    General Motors LLC
                                 Performance Air Intake Kit

Pursuant to the authority vested in the California Air Resources Board by Section 27156 of
the Vehicle Code; and

Pursuant to the authority vested in the undersigned by Section 39515 and Section 39516 of
the Health and Safety Code and Executive Order G—14—012;

IT IS ORDERED AND RESOLVED: That the installation of the Performance Air Intake Kits,
manufactured and marketed by General Motors LLC, 3300 General Motors Road, Milford,
Michigan 48380, has been found not to reduce the effectiveness of the applicable vehicle
pollution control systems and, therefore, is exempt from the prohibitions of Section 27156
of the Vehicle Code for the following vehicle applications:

Part No. Vehicle Application

84329125 2016 to 2018 6.2L Camaro

The Air Induction Kit includes the following main components: New closed element air box
with see through lid, conical air filter, intake tubing, and a new MAF tube with HCT heat
staked inside (stock MAF sensor element is re—installed in the new MAF tube in a stock
location and orientation). ECU is upgraded with a new MAF calibration only, there are no
user adjustments. No other changes are required for proper installation.
Installation of the Air Intake System requires the removal of the stock air filter
housing. If the stock air filter housing contains the vehicle‘s tune—up & emissions
control decal, a replacement decal must be placed in a similar location.

This Executive Order is valid provided that the installation instructions for the Performance
Air Intake Kits will not recommend tuning the vehicle to specifications different from those
of General Motors LLC.

Changes made to the design or operating conditions of the Performance Air Intake Kits, as
exempt by the California Air Resources Board, which adversely affect the performance of
the vehicle‘s pollution control system shall invalidate this Executive Order.

The California Air Resources Board reserves the right in the future to review this Executive
Order and the exemption provided herein to assure that the exempted add—on or modified
part continues to meet the standards and procedures of Title 13, California Code of
Regulations, Section 2222, et seq.

This Executive Order is granted based on submitted emissions test data generated on two
test vehicles modified with the Performance Air Intake Kits. Test results showed that
emission levels, with the Performance Air Intake Kits installed, met the applicable emission
standards when tested using the Cold—Start CVS—75 Federal Test Procedure (FTP) test
cycle and the Supplemental Federal Test Procedure (SFTP USO6) test cycle, and 2 Day
Diurnal. Examination of the OBD II system showed that the Performance Air Intake Kits did
not affect OBD II system operation. Results from emissions testing conducted at the
General Motor Proving Ground located in Milford, Michigan, are shown below, in grams per
mile, with assigned deterioration factors (df) applied to modified test results.
