Emission Vehicle (LEV | ULEV) emission standards and a 2007 model year 5.4L Ford
F—150, certified to the Low Emission Vehicle II Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (LEVII ULEV)
emission standards and both modified with the Ram—Air Intake. Test results showed that
emission levels, with the Ram—Air Intake installed, met the applicable emission standards
when tested using the Cold—Start CVS—75 Federal Test Procedure (FTP) test cycle and
the Supplemental Federal Test Procedure (SFTP) test cycle. Examination of the OBD II
system showed the Ram—Air Intake did notaffect OBD II system operation. Results from
emissions testing conducted at Quantum Technologies, Lake Forest, California, are
shown below (in grams per mile with deterioration factors applied).
