This Executive Order is granted based on emission test results in the modified configuration
using the Cold—Start CVS—75 Federal Test Procedure (FTP), Supplemental Federal Test
Procedure (SFTP USO6), and an examination of the On—Board Diagnostic II (OBD I1)
system. A 2004 model year Chevrolet €1500 with a 5.3 liter engine (4GMXTO06.0187, LEV 1
SULEV) was used for testing with the SLP PerformancePac installed. Results from
emissions testing conducted at Automobile Club of Southern California, Diamond Bar,
California, are shown below (in grams per mile with deterioration factors applied):

standards. Examination of the OBD II system showed the SLP PerformancePac does not
affect OBD II system operation.

the exemption provided herein to assure that the exempted add—on or modified part
continues to meet the standards and procedures of Title 13, California Code of Regulations,
