EXHAUST HEADERS {P/N‘S 245Y, 245Y—5, 248Y AND 253) —Pursuant to the authority vested in the Air Resources Board by Section 27156 of the V¥shicle Code; and Pursuant to the authority vested in the undersigned by Sections 39515 and 39515 of the Health and Safety Code and Executive Order G—4§—§; IT IS ORDERED AND RESOLYED: That the installation of the Doug Thorley exhaust header part nos. 245¢, 24§¢—5, 248Y and 253 manufactured by Douqg Thorley Headers, Inc. of 1561 Commerce Street, Corana, CA 91720, has been found not to reduce the effectiveness of the applicable vehicle pollution controlt system and, therefore, is exempt from the prohibitions of Section 27156 of the Vehicle Code for the following non—feedback vehicle applications: Exhaust Header P/N 245¢¥ {non—AIR) and P/N 245¥—S ({AIR) 1978—1981 model—year Ford Courier pickup equipped with a 2.3 liter ~sine Exzhaust Header P/IN 248Y 1980—1981 model—year Ford 2WD/4WD Bronco, 2WD/4WD pickup and van equipped with a 302W or a 351W engins Exhaust Header P/N 263 1975—1977 model—year Fcrd 2WD/A4WD Bronco equipped with a 289 or a 3024 engine This Executive Order is valid provided that installation instructions for thess headers will not recommend tuning the vehicle to specifications different from those submitted by DBoug fThorlisy Headers, Inc. mem on~ Changes made to the design or operating conditions of these sxhaust headers, as exempt by the Air Resourcss Board, which adversely affect the performance Fo NNReeion@abtamemem of a vehicle‘s poliution control systzm sha?i invalidate this Executive Order . e yesien

Exemption of these exhaust headers shall not be construed as exemption to sell, offer for sale, or advertise any component of the kit as an individual device. This Executive Order does not constitute any cpznxcn as to the effect the use of these exhaust headers may have on any warranty sither expressed or implied by the vehicle manufacturer. THIS EXECUTIYE ORDER DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A CERTIFICATION, ACCREDITATION, APPROYAL, OR ANY .
