EXHAUST HEADERS (P/N‘S 405Y¥. 408¥—5. 410¥, 410Y—5, 450Y AND 450Yy—5) nepten bin Pursuant to the authority vasted in the Air Resources Board by Section 27156 of the Vehicle Codg; and Pursuant to the authority vested in the undersigned by Sections 39515 and 39516 of the Health and Safety Code and Executive Order G—4§—5; IT IS ORDERED AND RESCLYED: That the installation of the Doug Thor ley exhaust header part nos. 405¥, 405Y—$3, 410¢, 410¥—S, 450¥ and 450¢—53 manufactured by Doug Thorley Headers, Inc. of 1861 Commerce Street, Corona, CA §$1720, has been found not to reduce the effectiveness of the applicabls vehisle pollution control system and, therefore, is exempt from the prohibitions of Section 27156 of the Yehicle Code for the following non— feedback yvshicle applications: Exhaust Header P/N 405¥ {nomn—AIR) and P/N 40§8Y—5 {AIR) nvermee 1975—13981 mode1-year Datsunf/Nissan pickupgs equzpped with a L208 or a 220E engane conace ene vemntiem s Exhaust Header P/N 410¢¥ {non—AIR) and P/NK 410Y—S (AIR) 1975—1377 model—year Datson/Nissan pickups equ1pped with a L18E engine Exhaust Header P/N 450¥ {non—AIR) and P/M 450Y—5 (AIR)} 1980—1983 mode?»yflar Datsun/Nissan pickups equxpped with a Z20E or a 222E engine This Executive Order is valid provided that 1nsta}?at}cn instructions for thesoe headers will not recommend tuning the vehicle to spaczfacat}cns different from those submitted by Doug Thorlsy Headars, Inc. Changes made to the design or operating conditions of these sxhaust headers, as sxzempt by the Air Resources Board, which adversely affect the performance of a vehicle‘s pollution control system shall invalidate this Exscutive Order .

This Executive Order does not constitute any opinion as to the effect the use of these exhaust headers may have on any warranty sither sxpressed or implied by the vehicle manufacturer. THIS EXECUTIYE ORDER DOES NOQT CONSTITUTE A CERTIFICATION, ACCREDITATION, APPROVAL, OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF ENDORSEMENT B¥ THE AIR RESOURCES BOARD OF CLAIMS OF THE APPLICANT CONCERNING ANTI—PQOLLUTION BENEFITS OR ANY ALLEGED BENEFITS OF DOVUG THORLEY HEADERS, INC.‘S EXHAUST HEADER FART HOS. 405Y¢, 405Y¥—S5, 410Y, 410¢—5, 450¥ AND 4§50y—5. No claim of any kind, such as "Approved by the Air Resources Board" may be made with respect to the action taken herein in any advertising or other oral or written communication. Violation of any of the above conditions shall be grounds for revocation of this order. The order may be revoked only after ten day written notice of intention to revoke the order, in whict period the holder j of the order may request in writing a hearing to contest the proposed ~ revocation.
