EXHAUST HEADERS (PIN‘S 605Y, §08¥—S, §10, 610—5, 615¥, 615Y¥—5, 625 AND 625—5) Pursuant to the authority vested in the Air Resources Board by Section 27156 of the ¥shicle Code; and Pursuant to the authority vested in the undersigned by Sections 39515 and 39516 of the Health and Safety Code and Exscutive Order G—4§—5; 17 IS ORDERED AND RESOLYED: That the instalilation of the Doug Thorley exhaust header part nos. 605Y¥, 605Y¥—5, 610, 610—5, 615¢, 6165Y—5, 625 and 625—5 manufactured by Doug Thorley Headers, Inc. of 1561 Commerce Street, Corona, CA 91720; has been found not to reduce the effectiveness of the mspiice y3zNeeocormmnepnranaines applicable vehicle poliution control system and, therefore, is exempt from the prohibitions of Section 27156 of the Ven1cie Code for the following non— fsedback vehicle applications: Exhaust Header P/N 605¥ {non—AIR) and P/N 60§5§Y¥—5 (AIR) 1975—1982 model—year AMC Jeep CJ§, CJ6, CJ7 and CJS8 equipped with a 30¢—401 CID engine t Exhaust Header P/N 610 {non—AiR) and P/N 610—S {(AlR) 1975—1982 model—year AMC deep CJ5, €J6, CJ7 and CJ8 equipped with a 232—258 CID engine Exhaust Header P/N 615¥ {non—AIR)} and P/N §1§5§Y—5 (AIR) 1975—1979 model—year AMC Jesp pickup, Wagonesr and Cherokee equipped with a 304—401 CID engine Exhaust Header P/N 625 {non—AIR) and P/N 625—5 ({AIR) 1980—1982 model—year AMC Jeep pickup, Wagonser and Cherokes equipped with a 304—401 CID engine This Executive Order is valid provided that installation instructions for ‘ these headers will not recommend tuning the vehicle to specifications different from those submitted by Doug Thorley Headers, Inc. Changes made to the design or operating conditions of thesse exhaust headers, as exempt by the Air Resources Board, which adversely affect the performance of a vehicle‘s pollution control system shall invalidate this Executive Order .

EXECUTIYE ORDER 0—200—8 EXHAUST HEADERS {(Page 2 sf 2) Marketing of these exhaust headers using any ldentification other than that shown in this Executive Order or marketing of these exhaust headers for an application other than those listed in this Executive Ordsr shall be prohibited unless prior approval is obtained from the Air Resources Board. Exemption of these exhaust headers shall not be construe: as exemption to sell, offer for sale, or advertise any component of the kit as an individual devics. This fExecutive Order does not constitute any opinion as to the effect the usé of these exhaust headers may have on any warranty either expresced or implied by the vehicle manufacturer. THIS EXECUTIVE ORDER DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A CERTIFICATION, ACCREDITATION, APPROYAL, OR ANY QTHER TYPE OF ENDORSEMENT BY THE AIR RESOURCES BOARC OF CLAIMS OF THE APPLICANT CONCERNING ANTI—POLLUTION BENEFTI*S OR ANY ALLEGED BENEFITS OF DOUG THORLEY HEADERS, INC.*‘S EXHAUST HEADER FART NOS. 60§5Y¥, 606Y—S, 610, §610—5$, 61§5¥, §15Y—5, 625 AND 625—5. No claim of any kind, such as "Approved by the Air Resources Board" may be made with respect to the action taken herein in any adve—tising or other oral or written communication. ¥iolation of any of the above conditions shall be ground: for revocation of this order. The order may be revoked only after ten day written notice of intention to revoke the order, in whict period the holder of the order may request in writing a hearing to contest the proposed revocation. If a hearing is requested, it shall be held within ten days of receipt of the request and the order may not be revoked rcatil a determination after hearing that grounds for/revocation exist.
