19051985 and older vehicles equipped with a Chrysler 360, 400, 440 CID engine.The original thermoquad carburetor relied on a vacuum amplifier to operate the EGR valve, using the new Edelbrock carburetor, the vacuum amplifier is not needed and EGR can be rerouted using the ported vacuum. The throttle positioner may also be removed since it is not applicable to this new carburetor.
