(Page i of 2) State of California AIR RESOURCES BOARD EXECUTIVE ORDER D—301 Relating to Exemptions Under Sectior 27156 of the Vehicle Code ARIZONA SPEED & MARINE, INC. TPI RUNNERS Pursuant to the authority vested in the Air Resources Soard by Section 27156 of the Vehicle Code; and Pursuant to the authority vested in the undersigned > Sections 39515 and 39516 of the Health and Safety Code‘and Executive Orésr G—45—5; IT IS ORDERED AND RESOLVED: That the installation of the TPI Runners manufactured by Arizona Speed & Marine, Inc. of 4834 :. 40th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85040 have been found not to reduce the effectiveness of the applicable vehicle pollution control system and, therefore, are exempt from the prohibitions of Section 27156 of the Vehicle Code for 1985 to 1992 General Motors Corvettes, Camaros, and Trans Ams that are powered by a electronic port fuel injected 5.7L gasoline engine. This Executive Order is valid provided that installat._zsn instructions for these TPI Runners will not recommend tuning the vehizcls to specifications— different from those submitted by Arizona Speed & Mar—ne, Inc. Changes made to the design or operating conditions of the TPI Runners, as exempt by the Air Resources Board, which adversely affect the performance of a vehicle‘s pollution control system shall invalidate this Executive Order. Marketing of these TPI Runners using any identificatiz—n other than that shown in this Executive Order or marketing of these T°I Runners for an application other than those listed in this Executive Order shall be prohibited unless prior approval is obtained from the Air Resources Board. This Executive Order does not constitute any opinion :s to the effect the use of the camshaft may have on any warranty either erpressed or implied by the vehicle manufacturer. THIS EXECUTIVE ORDER DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A CERTIFICART—ON, ACCREDITATION, APPROVAL, OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF ENDORSEMENT BY THE AIF. RESOURCES BOARD OF CLAIMS OF THE APPLICANT CONCERNING ANTI—POLLUTION BENZ>ITS OR ANY ALLEGED BENEFITS OF ARIZONA SPEED & MARINE‘S TPI RUNNERS. No claim of any kind, such as "Approved by the Air Resources Board" may be made with respect to the action taken herein in any eivertising or other oral or written communication.
