This Executive Order shall not apply to any Autotronic Controls Corporation‘s Ignition
System Components advertised, offered for sale, sold with, or installed on a motor vehicle

demonstrates that the ignition system components meet the requirements of compliance
criteria for ignition system components as specified under the "Procedures for Exemption of
Add—On and Modified Parts" and therefore, will not increase emissions. This Executive
Order is also based on an On Board Diagnostic II (OBD II) testing conducted on a 1996
Chevrolet Impala with the MSD 6A. The ignition system component when installed on the
vehicle did not affect its ability to perform OBD II monitoring.

This Executive Order is valid provided that the installation instructions for the Ignition
System Components will not recommend tuning the vehicles to specifications different from
those of the vehicle‘s manufacturer.

Changes made to the design or operating conditions of the Ignition System Components, as
exempt by the Air Resources Board, which adversely affect the performance of the vehicle‘s
pollution control system shall invalidate this Executive Order.

other than those listed in this Executive Order shall be prohibited unless prior approval is
obtained from the Air Resources Board. Exemption of the Ignitions shall not be construed
as exemption to sell, offer for sale, or advertise any component of the kit as an individual
