1996-2002 model-year 3.9, 5.9, and 8.3 liter Case off-road compression-ignition engines. This exemption is limited to engines subject to California's Tier-1 exhaust emisison standards. This exemption is also limited to engines used in equipment at the ports, railway yards, and intermodal operation such as a yard tractor, lift truck, top pick, side pick, and a gantry crane.The AZ Purifier and AZ Purimuffler can be installed on engines operated using standard California diesel, ultra-low sulfur diesel, or PuriNOx water emulsion fuel based on either standard California diesel or ultra-low sulfur diesel.
