Pursuant to the authority vested in the undersigned by Section 39515 and Section
39516 of the Health and Safety Code and Executive Order G—02—003;

IT IS ORDERED AND RESOLVED: That the installation of the Fast Forward
Supercharger Kit, manufactured and marketed by KnackToys, LLC {1217 W. Central
Avenue, Coolidge, AZ 85228) has been found not to reduce the effectiveness of the
applicable vehicle pollution control system and, therefore, is exempt from the
prohibitions of Section 27156 of the Vehicle Code for 1994 through 2003 model—year
Mazda MX—5 Miata vehicles equipped with a naturally aspirated 1.8L engine, as
described in Exhibit A.

The Fast Forward Supercharger Kit consists of the following main components:
Magnuson MP62 supercharger with a 65 mm diameter pulley, 105 mm diameter
crankshaft pulley, intake manifold with an additional fuel injector, BBK throttle body,
open element style air filter, and Jackson Racing PowerCard Pro (no user adjustments).
Maximum boost is 10 psi. Supplied fuel hose is manufactured and labeled to SAE

different from those submitted by the device manufacturer.

Changes made to the design or operating conditions of the Fast Forward Supercharger
Kit, as exempt by the Air Resources Board, which adversely affect the performance of
the vehicle‘s pollution control system shall invalidate this Executive Order.

This Executive Order shall not apply to any Fast Forward Supercharger Kit advertised,
offered for sale, sold with, or installed on a new motor vehicle prior to or concurrent with
transfer to an ultimate purchaser.

Marketing of the Fast Forward Supercharger Kit using any identification other than that
shown in this Executive Order or marketing of the Fast Forward Supercharger Kit for an

This Executive Order does not constitute any opinion as to the effect the use of the Fast
Forward Supercharger Kit may have on any warranty either expressed or implied by the
vehicle manufacturer.

This Executive Order is granted based on submitted emissions test data generated on a
2005 model—year Mazda MX—5 Miata 1.8L (test group STKXVO1.8NA1), certified to the
Low Emission Vehicle (LEV) emission standards with the Fast Forward Supercharger
Kit (part number FFSO1—05—CS) installed. Testing consisted of a Cold—Start CVS—75
Federal Test Procedure (FTP) test cycle and an On—Board Diagnostic II (OBD !I) test.
Test data showed that the Fast Forward Supercharger Kit did not affect the vehicle‘s
ability to perform OBD II monitoring. CVS—75 FTP results are in grams per mile with
deterioration factors added to the results. Emission levels of the modified vehicle met
the applicable emission standards.
