CARB_D-774-2

                                   State of California
                               AIR RESOURCES BOARD

                              EXECUTIVE ORDER D—774—2

Relating to Exemptions Under Section 27156
                                of the California Vehicle Code

                          Specialty Vehicle Engineering, Inc.
                             Centrifugal Supercharger Kit

Pursuant to the authority vested in the Air Resources Board by Section 27156 of the
Vehicle Code; and

Pursuant to the authority vested in the undersigned by Section 39515 and Section
39516 of the Health and Safety Code and Executive Order G—14—012;

IT IS ORDERED AND RESOLVED: That the installation of the Centrifugal
Supercharger Kit, manufactured and marketed by Specialty Vehicle Engineering, Inc.,
1501 Industrial Way North, Toms River, New Jersey 08755, has been found not to
reduce the effectiveness of the applicable vehicle pollution control systems and,
therefore, is exempt from the prohibitions of Section 27156 of the Vehicle Code for
2016 and 2017 model year Chevrolet Camaros and Corvettes équipped with a 6.2L
naturally aspirated engine.

The Centrifugal Supercharger Kit, part number 90430, consists of the following main
components: Rotrex centrifugal supercharger, model number C38—92 with a 100 mm
diameter pulley, intake air tubing with hydrocarbon adsorber (GM part number
15298966 attached in a stock location and orientation), open element air filter,
bypass valve, MAP sensor, intercooler, and a reflashed ECM (no user adjustments).
Boost is limited to 10 pounds per square inch. The stock 190 mm diameter
crankshaft pulley, fuel injectors, and thermostat are retained. All supplied fuel hoses
are Avon‘s CADbar 9000 series or a stock replacement, and fuel and vapor line
connectors supplied with the kit are OEM — equivalent parts. Breather hoses may be
replaced with an SAE30RY rated hose or a stock replacement.

This Executive Order is valid provided that the installation instructions for the
Centrifugal Supercharger Kit will not recommend tuning the vehicle to specifications
different from those of the vehicle manufacturer.

Changes made to the design or operating conditions of the Centrifugal Supercharger
Kit as exempt by the Air Resources Board, which adversely affect the performance of
the vehicle‘s pollution control system shall invalidate this Executive Order.

Marketing of the Centrifugal Supercharger Kit using any identification other than that
shown in this Executive Order or marketing of the Centrifugal Supercharger Kit for an
application other than those listed in this Executive Order shall be prohibited unless
prior approval is obtained from the Air Resources Board.

                                           3.

This Executive Order does not constitute any opinion as to the effect the use of the
Centrifugal Supercharger Kit may have on any warranty either expressed or implied
by the vehicle manufacturer

This Executive Order is granted based on submitted emission test data generated on
a 2016 Camaro modified with the supercharger kit. Test results showed that
emission levels, with the supercharger kit installed, met the applicable emission
standards when tested using the Cold—Start CVS—75 Federal Test Procedure (FTP)
test cycle and the Supplemental Federal Test Procedure (SFTP USO6/SC03) test
cycle. Examination of the OBD II system showed that the supercharger kit did not
affect OBD II system operation. Results from emissions testing conducted at
Automotive Testing and Development Services, Inc. of Ontario, California, are shown
below, in grams per mile, with deterioration factors (df) applied.
