State of California AIR RESOURCES BOARD EXECUTIVE ORDER D—215—94 Relating to Exemptions Under Section 27156 of the Vehicle Code EDELBROCK, LLC Performer Aluminum Cylinder Heads Pursuant to the authority vested in the Air Resources Board by Section 27156 of the Vehicle Code; and Pursuant to the authority vested in the undersigned by Section 39515 and Section 39516 of the Health and Safety Code and Executive Order G—45—9; IT IS ORDERED AND RESOLVED: That the installation of the Performer Aluminum Cylinder Heads, manufactured and marketed by Edelbrock, LLC, 2700 California Street, Torrance, California 90509—2936 has been found not to reduce the effectiveness of the applicable vehicle pollution control system and, therefore, is exempt from the prohibitions of Section 27156 of the Vehicle Code for the following vehicle applications: Engine Disp. General Motors 302—400 1995 and older 6065, 60659, 6075, 60759, 607519 6084, 60849, 6085, 60859, 608519 6086, 60869, 6087, 60879, 608719 6090, 60909, 609019, 6097, 60975, 607519, 60979, 6097 15, 609719 396—454 1995 and older 6046, 60469, 6047, 60479, 604719 6048, 60489, 6049, 60499, 604919 389—455 1965—1979 6056*, 60569*, 6057*, 60575*, 60579*, 605719* 61569*, 61575, 61579*, 615719* 61589*, 61595, 61599* Ford 302—351W 1995 and older 6027, 60279, 6028, 60289 6029, 60299, 6031, 60319 6032, 60329, 603219, 6034, 60349 6035, 60359, 603519, 6036, 60369 6037, 60379, 6037 19, 6038, 60389 6039, 60399 Jeep 244 1991—2006 50159, 50169 * Vehicles without secondary air injection This Executive Order is valid provided that the installation instructions for the Performer Aluminum Cylinder Heads will not recommend tuning the vehicle to specifications different from those of the vehicle manufacturer.

#. Changes made to the design or operating conditions of the Performer Aluminum Cylinder Heads, as exempt by the Air Resources Board, which adversely affect the performance of the vehicle‘s pollution control system shall invalidate this Executive Order. This exemption is issued based on prior data submitted from Edelbrock, LLC in support of other Edelbrock, LLC‘s Executive Orders. Marketing of the Performer Aluminum Cylinder Heads using any identification other than that shown in this Executive Order or marketing of the Performer Aluminum Cylinder Heads for an application other than those listed in this Executive Order shall be prohibited unless prior approval is obtained from the Air Resources Board. Exemption of the Performer Aluminum Cylinder Heads shall not be construed as exemption to sell, offer for sale, or advertise any component of the kit as an individual device. THIS EXECUTIVE ORDER DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A CERTIFICATION, ACCREDITATION, APPROVAL, OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF ENDORSEMENT BY THE AIR RESOURCES BOARD OF ANY CLAIMS OF THE APPLICANT CONCERNING ANTI—POLLUTION BENEFITS OR ANY ALLEGED BENEFITS OF EDELBROCK, LLC‘S PERFORMER ALUMINUM CYLINDER HEADS. No claim of any kind, suchas "Approved by the Air Resources Board", may be made with respect to the action taken herein in any advertising or other oral or written communication. Violation of any of the above conditions shall be grounds for revocation of this order. The order may be revoked only after a ten—day written notice of intention to revoke the order, in which period the holder of the order may request in writing a hearing to contest the proposed revocation. If a hearing is requested, it shall be held within ten days of receipt of the request and the order may not be revoked until a determination is made after the hearing that grounds for revocation exist.
