                 Relatlng to Exemptions under Sections 27156 and 38391
                                   of the Vehicle Code

                                AirTek, Inc. (d.b.a. CATCO)
                           New Aftermarket Catalytic Converters

WHEREAS, Vehicle Code Sections 27156 and 38395 and Title 13, California Code of
Regulations (hereafter "CCR") Section 2222(h) authorize the California Air Resources Board
and its Executive Officer to exempt new aftermarket catalytlcconverters from the prohibitions
of Vehicle Code Sections 27156 and 38391.

WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority vested in the Executive Officer by Health and Safety
Code Section 39515 and in the Chief of the Mobile Source Operations Division by Health and
Safety Code Section 39516 and Executive Order G—02—003, the Air Resources Board issued
Executive Orders D—280—47, D—280—80 and D—280—81, which exempted the AirTek, Inc.
catalytic converter Series 91000, 91000 and 310000 respectively from the prohibitions of
Vehicle Code Sections 27156 and 38391.

, WHEREAS, said exemption was granted pursuant to and subject to the "California Evaluation
Procedures for New Aftermarket Catalytic Converters," adopted on October 25, 2007,
required by, Title 13, CCR Section 2222(h).

WHEREAS, AirTek, Inc. of 4410 West 37"" Avenue, Hobart, Indiana 46342 has failed to meet
the aging requirements for truck applications in section (e)(3)(A) of the "California Evaluation
Procedures for New Aftermarket Catalytic Converters," (Procedures) adopted on .
October 25, 2007, based on recent compliance review.

lT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that Executive Order D—280—47 issued on December 24, 2008,
Executive Order D—280—80 issued on February 27, 2009, and Executive Order D—280—81
issued on October 11, 2010, are rescinded. AirTek, Inc. its agents, and any businesses
connected with these products shall cease and desistinstallation, sale, offer for sale, and
advertisement of the catalytic converters covered in these Executive Orders in the State of
California effective the date of signature of Executive Order. D—280—86.
