Pursuanttothe authonty vested in the underSIQned by Section 39515 and Sectlon 39516 of the Health and Safety Code and Executive Order G—02003; ‘ IT IS ORDERED AND RESOLVED: That the installation of the Triple Dog GT Gas Tuner, part number 40410, manufactured and marketed by Bully Dog Technologies, 2839 —Hwy 39, American Falls, Idaho 83211, has been found not to reduce the effectiveness of the applicable vehicle pollution control systems and, therefore, is exempt from the prohrbltlons of Section 27156 of the Vehlcle Code for the following vehicleappllcatlons listed in Exhibit A v s . The Trrple Dog GT Gas Tuner part number40410is a hand held programmer designed to reprogram the FLASH memory chip located in the vehicle‘s ECU module. There are three main stages of enhancement: Stock, Regular, and Premium. The Triple Dog GT is also designed to download OEM calibration updates, non emission related upgrades, and patches or fixes in the firmware, data files cannot be modified by the end user The . 2. This Executive Order does not constitute any opinion as to the effect the use of the Triple Dog GT Gas Tuner, part number 40410 may have on any warranty either expressed or implied by the vehicle manufacturer. This Executive Order is granted based on prior submitted emission test data, in support of Executive Order D—512—3, generated on three test vehicles modified with the Premium tune. Test results showed that emission levels, with the Triple Dog GT Gas Tuner, part number 40410‘s Premium program installed, met the applicable emission standards when tested using the Cold—Start CVS—75 Federal Test Procedure (FTP) test cycle and the Supplemental Federal Test Procedure (SFTP US06) test cycle. Examination of the OBD II system showed the Triple Dog GT Gas Tuner, part number 40410 did not affect OBD II system operation. Results from emissions testing conducted at Automotive Testing and Development Services, Inc., located in Ontario, California, are shown below (in grams per mile with deterioration factors applied). —3. Violation of any of the above conditions shall: be grounds for revocation of this order. The order may be revoked only after a ten—day written notice of intention to revoke the order, in which period the holder of the order may request in writing a hearing to contest the proposed revocation.
