This Executive Order shall not apply to any Crane Cams, Inc.‘s ignition systems advertised,
offered for sale, sold with, or installed on a new motor vehicle prior to or concurrent with
transfer to an ultimate purchaser.

This Executive Order is issued based on information supplied by the device manufacturer
which demonstrates that the ignition systems meet the requirements of compliance criteria
for ignition system components as specified under the "Procedures for Exemption of Add—On
and Modified Parts" and, therefore, will not increase emissions. This Executive Order is also
based on the On Board Diagnostic II (OBD II) testing conducted on a 2000 2.0L Ford Focus
with the HI—6D12 and Electronic Trigger, and a 2000 3.9L Dakota with the HI—6 w/ boost
retard and Electronic Trigger. The various ignition systems when installed on the vehicles
did not affect their ability to perform OBD II monitoring.

This Executive Order is valid provided that installation instructions for these devices will not
recommend tuning the vehicles to specifications different from those submitted by the
vehicle manufacturer.
