| See PDF | 2007 to 2009 model year 5.4L Shelby GT500 and 2005 to 2006 model year Ford Supercharged GT | The Whipple Supercharger Kit, part numbers WIK-5.4L-4VGT and WIK-5.4L-4VGT500, is a replacement supercharger for vehicles originally equipped with a stock supercharger. The kit includes a twin screw Whipple, new open element air filter with intake air tubing, 105mm mass air flow sensor, and a new ECM calibration. Maximum boost produced by the supercharger is around 16 pounds per square inch. No changes are made to the stock throttlebody or radiator thermostat and installation would not require any modification to any fuel or emission related tubing. Supercharger is designed to be a direct bolt-on replacement to the stock supercharger. The Whipple Pulley Kits, part numbers WIK-5.4L-4VPGT and WIK-5.4L-4VPGT500, utilize the stock supercharger and include a different size supercharger pulley, 105mm mass air flow sensor, new ECM calibration, and a new open element air filter with intake air tubing. Boost is increased to around 16 pounds per square inch. The new ECM calibration and/or programmer for both kits does not have any emission related user adjustments nor does it have capability to allow the user to upload new fuel and timing maps. |
