| 2003 and older Mazda Miatas | The TS 8000 Mazda Miata Supercharger Kit includes the following main components: A twin screw type supercharger with an air bypass tube, an intake manifold, intercooler (optional), 160 degree thermostat, and an open element air cleaner. A supplied intake air tube which connects the throttle body to the open element air cleaner also houses the mass air flow sensor and the intake air temperature sensor. The wiring harness to both sensors are lengthened in order to reach their new location. The lengthening process involves a solder connection with heat shrink tubing for protection. The supercharger pulley diameter is 2 5/8" with an add-on crankshaft pulley diameter of 5 3/4", boost is limited to 6 psi. |
